About me

My working week is divided between painting and my job in public health commissioning, where I specialise in improving mental and emotional health. After graduating I was self employed as a dressmaker/designer, and completed an HND in fashion and pattern cutting. For several years I worked in community mental health in Bristol before having children, after which I undertook postgraduate training in public health. For ten years I have worked part time in the public sector, where my role has included developing the successful "Gloucestershire Art Lift" project, which uses art to improve mental well-being. I live in the beautiful stroud valleys with my husband and two teenage children.

I show and sell work during the Stroud Site festivals Open Studios, as well as solo exhibitions in local galleries including Lansdown gallery, Kendrick Street gallery and Prema Arts Centre in Uley. My work has also sold as part of mixed exhibitions at the New Brewery Arts centre in Cirencester.
